Groundwork Studio (New Mexico), an award-winning landscape architectural and community planning studio, is hiring a landscape architect. Licensure-track landscape designers are also encouraged to apply.
In our studio, which is part of FBT Architects (fbtarch.com), we provide designs informed by meaningful community engagement within a highly collaborative setting. We work closely with professional project teams to provide results to our clients, who include local, state and federal governments, healthcare providers, schools from pre-k to university, non-profit and community organizations, and commercial developers.
Groundwork Studio engages with all stages of project lifecycle from visioning and schematic design through construction administration services, providing complete landscape architectural services from site master planning to site design, planting, irrigation, and construction detailing. We are hiring a full-time project manager at our office in Albuquerque’s Uptown neighborhood. Ideal applicants are energetic, resilient, and curious problem solvers with excellent communication skills who leverage their technical skills in creative ways. The primary tools we use include AutoCAD, Adobe creative suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign), and the MS office suite, but familiarity with other programs is desirable.
