NMASLA Climate Action Field Trip!

Join us on May 10th, 2025 for a site tour series in Santa Fe, NM with Reese Baker (The Raincatcher Inc.) to highlight how fungi can be incorporated into the urban environment. Using urban stormwater as a resource, along with various forms of mycology, we can build ecosystems that recharge aquifers, enhance biodiversity, build wildlife and pollinator habitats, and provide for cleaner downstream fresh water ecosystems. We will wrap up the afternoon with a light happy hour at Reese's house.

This is the third and final event of the "Practice" Climate Action Pillar for the 2025 NMASLA Climate Action Education Series. 1 CEU credit (certificate of completion) will be available for each site visit attended; there are a total of three sites to tour, for a potential total of 3 CEU credits.
